Win Some, Lose Some

And so it was Noynoy and Binay all along, but the question is “final na ba yan?”.

For Broxichow its like win some, lose some. Even on the local elections level. Let just support the winners and wish them luck and help them if needed. as the saying goes, Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country (hehe poetic ba?)

Aardvark and the Party List Politics

Just some ranting…

Some pinoy politicos bastardize the party list system… big time. Just look at the acronyms of the party list candidates?
Either they start with A or with numbers, so that they will placed on top of the list. Even Aardvark will not make it to the top 100?
What will they come up next time? AAA- triple A to honor the energizer bunny?
Or maybe 123-4, a coalition of the masa/passengers of jeepneys that do judas (Remember the jeepney signage God knows Judas not pay)

On Pinoy Politics

Politics in the Philippines is so complicated. Broxichow find it funny that the two top sides are throwing stuffs at each other. And their staunchest supporters battling it out even in social media.

Its not that Broxichow does not care, but hey if Brox is in other country he feels lighter without the Philippines politics. How come in California, there is this ad in the TV, saying Top XX reasons why we should not vote for this Governor or Senator AAA, and yet I believe they are all OK with it? Nobody’s complaining about it being negative campaigning? For Broxichow campaigning is 2 ways, for and against. He’s OK either way, its up to the voters to believe it or not.

But its already decided: Broxichow will post some political raves and rants here but not on the other blogs. As much as possible no politics in the official twitter account too.

Broxichow overheard this joke! Funny so I’m sharing here:

NOYNOY: Hindi ako magnanakaw!
GIBO: Hindi ko kailangan magnakaw!
VILLAR: Hindi na ako magnanakaw!
Erap: Kailangan ko ulit magnakaw!
GMA: Beh! Wala na kayong mananakaw!

Broxichow learned before that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

How come this road needs to pass around so many curves.

You be the judge.

Mindanao Crisis

Broxichow is sad at whats happening in Southern Philippines. Massacre, then martial law, then beheading, then kidnappings again.

Below is a video courtesy of Asian Correspondent. This was taken hours after the Maguindanao Massacre. Warning: the video is quite graphic in nature and some may be sensitive to blood/gore so be warned ok?

Broxichow prays that there be justice for the victims.

Pinoy Worker in Australia Sacked over Toilet Habits

Comments Off on Pinoy Worker in Australia Sacked over Toilet Habits

Lets talk dirty! A pinoy worker in Australia was allegedly sacked from his job as a machine operator due to some serious issue: bad toilet habits. Because of his weird and unclean toilet habits of using water instead of toilet paper he was fired. See Filipino Worker in Australia fired over Toilet Habits article @ menardconnect.

This is so funny but I’m not laughing. For me it’s not weird. Its our way of cleaning, so WTF are they thinking? firing him. This is racial discrimination at its best.

This is an official rant. Somebody should do something about this.
Madam? Hehehe Peace

Pangandaman Valley Golf Incident

December 31, 2008
1 Comment

Its too sad that a petty golf argument will lead to a brawling incident. This blog POST reports that the town mayor of Masiu, Lanao Del Sur, Nasser Pangandaman Jr. and his bodyguards allegedly beat up a 56-year old businessman and his 14-year old son over some etiquette issues on the Valley Golf and Country Club golf course. The mayor is an interesting political figure. He is the son of Department of Agrarian Report Chief Nasser Pangandaman Sr, a strong political ally of our beloved GMA. Both sides are presenting their versions of the story to the media. But in the feudal world of the Republic of the Philippines, the version of the oppressed is more believable but will it be hold up in the proper courts of the land?

I hope for the speed recovery of the De la Pazes and pray that this incident will be settled and justice will be served.

Barack Obama in Manila this weekend

Comments Off on Barack Obama in Manila this weekend

I found it here.

Its surprising that MalacaƱang Press Corps did not cover the issue. But seeing the President Elect of the Most Powerful Country (Barack Obama) having kare-kare and kapeng barako with (let’s skip the adjectives for GMA, this blog may become too nasty) Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is really is convincing.

My last words on this post: Motilium FTW!!!

Yes to Quezon Del Sur

Comments Off on Yes to Quezon Del Sur

Today is the plebiscite for the Quezon Del Sur and Quezon Del Norte split. I wish I can participate and cast my YES but I’m stuck in manila, all my weekends is fully loaded and I can’t spare a day. I’m doing my own share of campaign via blogging here and here.
I hope and pray that the plebiscite will be free from violence and harassment.

God Bless Quezon province!
